I originally made this bag to hold my 13" MacBook, a notebook, shirt, large water bottle, etc. when I was headed to the Geekend conference in Savannah a few years ago. That was my old graphic designer days... and now I want to pass it on to someone else who will use it more often than me. It's a beautiful tan leather with a fairly large pocket under the flap of leather goodness. Overall the bag measures 17.75" long x 12" wide with about an 1.5" depth to it but it will expand a tad larger if needed. The front pocket measures 10.5" at its widest and 9.5" at its longest. The strap is wider and shorter to help carry a heavier load and not kill your shoulder. It measures 11" from very top of strap to top of the bag and is a Guess leather belt I picked up at Goodwill. It's quite a fabulous bag and I know I'll miss it, but I just don't use it as much as I once did. I guess I can always make another one. ;) Enjoy!!
The Julie Messenger is named after my sister who always likes to carry a ton of stuff.
